The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. We post our thoughts on our own blog. We talk about our doubts and the fears we have conquered. We discuss our struggles and triumphs and offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling. This group is all about connecting!
The awesome co-hosts for the March 5 posting of the IWSG are Ronel Janse Van Vuuren,Pat Garcia, and Liza @ Middle Passages!
Every month, we announce a question our members can answer.
March 5 question – If for one day you could be anyone or *thing* in the world, what would it be? Describe, tell why, and any themes, goals, or values they/it inspire in you.
Yeah! That would be an hoot! I toyed with superpowers. I was thinking about flying. I didn’t think about being invisible. Many advantages there!
I thought about flying too, I don’t like flying! ????
What a wonderful fantasy. Yes, can I have the cloak after you’re done? And for many of the same reasons!!!! I’m currently at the draft stage and not at all ready for revision, though a few beta readers came out of the woodwork this week. As an indie writer, I don’t worry about publishing, but your commitment to continually improving your writing skills sings to me! Thank you for a great post!
Awww. Thank YOU for your comments. And yes, I’ll pass the cloak to you when I’m finished. ????
That’s very clever, Jess. Invisible would be just fun anyway.
It really would. I can think of a lot of ways I’d utilize the invisible cloak. ????
That would be fun!!
Thanks for dropping by, Alex!
Great answer, Jessica! Brilliant choice! I wouldn’t mind have a few days, weeks, months with that invisible cloak. Happy IWSG Day!
Wouldn’t it be great if we could really do it? LOL
This is genius! Sign me up to take a tour of the publishing world under the cover of Harry’s invisibility cloak. Oh, the things I could learn! Not to mention, I’d finally get to live out my younger self’s dream of visiting Hogwarts.
An invisible cape would be so valuable to a writer! Thanks for dropping by.
I’d love to have Samantha’s twitchy nose and either Harry’s invisible cloak, wand, or broom. Your choices are great.
